3 out of 5 stars, a woman who recently lost her husband has her life upended again when a creepy man keeps trying to pursue her, she's informed that she's a couple months pregnant, and told she is running low on funds. A friend of her late husband's comes to her rescue in more ways than one, but will she be able to agree to all he is asking of her...It’s a sweet short story about overcoming loss, finding a possible new love, and putting your faith in God. What originally hooked me was the novella's cover, as it seemed fitting. What I found when reading this was a woman set up for bad circumstances but she still finds her own way through it all. I liked it, even though it seemed a little preachy at times. I think I'd have liked it more if it included Matthew's POV too. Nevertheless, it's a good quick read.
I know that this short story isn’t on Amazon at this moment (at least not the same way I purchased it) but I do recommend it to those looking for a very quick Christian romance if you can find it somewhere else.

The stories were fabulous. It was amazing to read about out people relocated under different circumstances.
very predictable, no surprises
God's Word never fails! This short story made you wish it would go on and on. I loved the characters and would have enjoyed them all being developed. -Barbie
It was a very great clean romance book, I just love well written books. Imagination is the key, love is so great when you grow into it not fall. I would give you 15 stars if I could. What's next
I enjoyed reading the majority of these short stories but I think some of the authors should have expanded on their story and developed the characters more. Quick, clean reads.
Easy and enjoyable read. Some of the stories are in need of serious editing. If you are including the Civil War in your plot it would be helpful to know when it took place. Wrong year was annoying. Also no one in the 1870's owned a walk-in freezer. Fans of historical reads are aware of these little things. Enjoyed the stories but found the errors disracting
That was an awful reading n this book. I particularly did not enjoy most of them. The endings of all stories end when they get married. What happens after when they are falling over? And the marriage?
Well, personally there are too many short stories and they sort of are very similar.
